Festival of Trees 2024
We held our first annual Festival of Trees fundraiser on November 23 at the Joliet Community Center. Local businesses and residents donated 27 decorated Christmas trees which were auctioned off. Flo McMasters created a dozen beautiful holiday centerpieces that were also sold. Yellowstone Christian Academy provided holiday music and 212 Bar & Grill provided a no-host bar. Several community members brought baked goodies for all to enjoy during the event. The fundraiser yielded $9,000 which will help fund the first phase of our planned improvements to Memorial Park in Joliet. The improvements will include new, accessible playground equipment for all to enjoy.
